Hoopers Bay Beach, one of Great Exuma’s more popular beaches due to the presence of turtles, it’s nearly always calm water, and long white-sand beach is located a short drive 5 minute west from George Town. However, public access to the beach is limited to a steep trail at the very west end making that public access somewhat difficult, or cumbersome at the least.
