BananaKeet Villa sits directly on Flamingo Bay, one of Exuma’s longest and most walkable stretches of soft white sand — over a mile and a quarter of it, protected by an outer reef that keeps the water calm and clear year-round. The villa is large, new, and built for the view: the entire beach-facing wall is black-framed glass, and from the kitchen island to the dining table to the living room sofas, the turquoise water is always in frame.
LAYOUT / ROOMS
Great Room (Open Plan)
The kitchen, dining, and living areas run together in a wide-open space under a double-height shiplap ceiling with three large rattan pendants. The kitchen is anchored by a substantial dark island with a white quartz countertop and four barstools — a natural gathering spot. White shaker cabinets, a blue-gray glass tile backsplash, stainless range with hood, and full-size stainless appliances. The ice maker and Starlink wifi are practical details that matter when you’re on an island. Sliding glass doors open the kitchen directly to the beach.
The dining area centers on a solid wood trestle table with woven leather-strap chairs and a rattan pendant above, positioned so the open water fills the entire back wall of glass behind it. The living area has a large white slipcovered sectional, two linen swivel chairs, a wall-mounted TV, and multiple glass doors that fold away to connect the interior to the deck.
Bedrooms
All four bedrooms have king beds and private en-suite bathrooms. At least one bedroom opens directly to the beach through floor-to-ceiling glass sliders — blue Adirondack chairs sit just outside on the deck, with the water a few steps beyond. The bedrooms are finished in the same clean palette as the main house: shiplap, light wood floors, rattan nightstands, and coastal accents.
Bathrooms
Each of the four en-suite bathrooms is private, and the finishes are genuinely notable — one features a walk-in shower tiled floor-to-ceiling in large-format blue-and-white cloud marble slab porcelain with a built-in bench, niche, and hexagonal mosaic floor. This is not a standard vacation rental bathroom.
OUTDOOR SPACES
A wide wood deck runs along the beach side of the villa with blue Adirondack chairs and chaise lounges positioned at the sand’s edge. A deep covered veranda on the side of the house — cedar tongue-and-groove ceiling, ceiling fans, dark wicker furniture with teal cushions — functions as a shaded outdoor living room that stays comfortable through the afternoon. The beach itself is the real amenity: Flamingo Bay’s outer reef creates calm, swimmable water with small patch reefs close enough to snorkel from shore. Paddle boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, floats, and a corn hole set are all provided.

LOCATION
BananaKeet Villa is located in Rokers Point Settlement on Great Exuma, on Flamingo Bay — a stretch of beach on the western side of the island, quieter and less developed than the George Town area, with the bay’s protective reef keeping conditions gentle even when the open ocean is rougher. Restaurants and bars are walkable from the villa. George Town, the island’s main hub, is a short drive and has grocery stores, restaurants, a marina, and the Thursday Night Fish Fry. George Town Airport (GGT) receives direct flights from Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Atlanta, and Toronto.
