Sandy Shoes has a personality, and it commits. The exterior is coral-pink with yellow shutters, a “Sweetie’s Paradise” surfboard arched over the entry path, and a hand-painted “Sandy Shoes” sign on a green front door. Inside: a fishing net draped with starfish over the vaulted living room, a “Beach Therapy” sign aimed at the water view, and four kayaks plus two paddleboards waiting in the yard. The tone is set before you unpack.
THE SPACE
The open-plan main floor keeps the focus on the water. Sliders from both the living room and kitchen open to a large covered deck where a glass dining table and wicker sectional look out over the private sandy beach, thatched palapa, and Adirondack chairs below. The kitchen has white cabinetry, granite countertops, and stainless appliances; an indoor dining table seats four. The downstairs king bedroom has its own en-suite with a walk-in tiled shower and a stacked washer and dryer. Upstairs, a loft king sits under a dramatic vaulted A-frame ceiling with a balcony rail overlooking the living area below.
OUTDOOR SPACES
The property has a private sandy beach with a thatched palapa and Adirondack chairs right at the water. A pool rounds out the outdoor setup. Four kayaks and two paddleboards are included. Sunsets from the deck and beach are a genuine event — fiery orange visible from nearly every spot on the grounds.

LOCATION
Spanish Wells is a small, tight-knit fishing island off the northern tip of Eleuthera in The Bahamas. The island is explored entirely by golf cart — no rental cars, no traffic. The main beach runs along the western shore; a small grocery store, fish market, and a handful of restaurants and bars serve the community. Access requires a short flight to North Eleuthera Airport (ELH) and a 5-minute water taxi to the island.
